I am planning my graduation trip to New York and I am going to stay for two weeks. What is the best hotel to stay at and the best restaurants to eat at?
Nothing too expensive. Maybe 1 restaurant can be expensive.
I have a limited budget. Maybe about $2,000 or something like that.

I just moved to NYC and want to know what are the absolute best Chinese restaurants in Flushing, Queens or Chinatown or anywhere in NYC. I am looking for authentic, non-Americanized Chinese cuisine. I am Chinese myself so I am very particular about it being authentic. Thank you for your input!

Looking for fine dining in NYC?

Hello, I am going to visit New York City, and I am looking for some fine dining. I am not looking necessarily for a $200 meal, black tie deal… I am just looking for a nice place to eat. Like a sit down, casual to semi formal (maybe), good portions with good prices. I don’t mind paying $50 for a meal if its size is worth $50.
I commonly eat at your typical Ruby Tuesdays, Chilies, Red Robins, and other such places, varying up to Olive Garden and Texas Road House. These places are nice for typical dining, but I am looking for a nice place for me and my fiance to have a nice meal, better then those.
Please suggest anything! I would prefer a steak house that offers a variety, but anything may do, although please nothing too exotic (Indian food, Vegan dining, Sushi [tried it, didn't like it], other such foods, not for us).
Also, if it helps with anything, I can speak mild french, so going to a place with a french menu or similar things, wouldn’t be a problem.
